Recovery in Sight a University-accredited training

  • From February 2010, the Recovery In-Sight course became accredited as a University-level course with Middlesex University.

It is accredited at level 3 and is worth 20 points. These credits can be put towards other degree or diploma qualifications.

To obtain these credits, there is a portfolio of work that is required; however all Recovery In-Sight trainees undertake the vast majority of this portfolio whilst following the training, which is principally based on practical exercises and group discussions.

You will be coached and supported to undertake the work and to enable your successful completion of the portfolio in study sessions with trainers, and in study groups with other trainees who have also followed the course.

The accreditation is free of charge to people following the Recovery In-Sight course and could enable trainees to return to or take up higher education for the first time.

A Recovery In-Sight Course Handbook is available upon request when trainees commence the course. Coursework must be completed and handed in within one year of course conclusion.

Middlesex University has recently been awarded the status of Centre of Excellence for Work-Based Learning.
