Free Employment Advice Fair & Advisory sessions - 18th October, Old Free School, Watford
-
Stop press - the format for the free Employment Advice Fair to be held on Tuesday 18th October, 1pm - 4pm, at the Old Free School in Watford is now available to download    presenters
During the afternoon, people from a variety of voluntary sector organisations, DWP and local companies will be presenting on the range of services they offer people with mental health challenges to return to work, what skills are needed in the world of work, and Recovery In-Sight will be offering free 1-2-1 legal, benefits/debt and employment advisory sessions to enable people to progress.
These 1-2-1 sessions will entail a short assessment and then continued support by Recovery In-Sight’s new staff team member, a qualified solicitor who is also trained in benefits and debt advice, together with employment advice offered by Dr Straughan, qualified and experienced in the business world.
The Employment Advice Fair is open to any person with a mental health challenge who is looking to return to work and attendance does not need to be confirmed. The individual advisory sessions must be booked in advance (before the day preferably, or on the day) to avoid disappointment.
